I'm growing life inside of me - (With update)

There's a little nugget growing in my tummy. He has a strong heart beat, a strong presence, even a strong kick lol. After giving birth to my beautiful first born, 15 years ago, I never in a million years thought I'd be experiencing this again. Everyday I am in disbelief. Grateful beyond words. I feel purposeful. I can't believe I was chosen to take this journey one more time. To grow and birth and love and nurture a baby boy for the rest of my life.  * A few months later * He's here :') Born 09/17/25 and weighing 9lb 7oz! Little bear is actually a big bear lol! He's 7 weeks old as I write this. He is the most adorable miniature human I've ever seen. I fall in love with him more each day.  I wish I would've finished this blog the day I started it. I remember exactly how I felt, emotional, empowered, proud. This entire journey, from the time I took the pregnancy test to labor and deliver, has been absolutely phenomenal. Now he's here and a new, beautif...

Letter to Little bear 4

Hello son! Some time has passed since the last time I wrote for you. We are 16 weeks today! I'm so proud of us. You're doing an amazing job growing and developing perfectly. My body is also doing a great job helping you, nourishing you and keeping you safe. I love you so much. Highlighted events I saw you at 12 weeks on your ultrasound, playing around with your hands. The cutest thing I've ever seen. Everything looked great. You're developing perfectly. I took a trip to North Carolina to hangout with your dad. He got to hear your heartbeat through my fetal doppler, he was so amazed. He introduced himself to you via whispering to my tummy, lol. During the same trip, daddy and I went to South Carolina and I got to meet some of your family. I met your grandpa, your grandma, your aunts and uncle (who is currently about 8 years old) a sweetie pie. I had a great time. I know you'll love them. They absolutely love you.  I started feeling you move around 13 weeks, but I did...

Letter to Little bear 3

So much happened yesterday, son. I went in for an ultrasound and I saw you! Just chilling in the corner of your little sac lol! My tiny nugget. I was so nervous until I took a glimpse at the screen and there you were. Afterwards, I made a pregnancy announcement and it exhausted me lol. I received a ton of love, but I also got some insane backlash. Nothing that I'll ever worry about, but it was kind of funny. I can't wait to teach you how to ignore people and be unbothered, like me. That's an imperative life skill lol.  So far, your growth isn't causing me any morning sickness, but it's definitely making me hungry and tired. When I get energy, I dance for exercise. I've been trying to rest, doctors orders, but its hard.  I love you.  I am sooo focused right now. Literally everything I do these days, I do with you in mind. I'm about to eat some late night dinner. ILY!! P.S. These are some of my telepathic thoughts to you that I think about throughout my day. I...

Affirmation Of The Day

My world is always taking care of me.

Letter to Little bear 2

Hey there! I keep calling you "son" because I strongly believe you're a boy. I went back to the hospital today and basically I have to go every 2 days to make sure you're developing properly. So far, so good. They keep poking me up with needles, one of my phobias. I had an Uber driver today named Bernard. That was your grandpas name, he passed away about 10 years ago. I feel like ever since he told me in a dream that I was pregnant with you, he's been making it his duty to show me he's my guardian angel. I'm so honored to be your mom, you're gonna hear me say that a lot.  The other day I cried myself to sleep, and I prayed it didn't affect you. I felt like a burden, I was triggered. The next morning I decided to lock in and keep working on strengthening my self concept. I have so many people in my life who absolutely love and appreciate me, I'm a pretty awesome girl, and these are the things that I must remind myself when I feel down. Don't...

Letter to Little bear

Confusion, gratitude, love, fear.. This feels like it's going to be a long journey. I knew you were coming, and I denied it until I couldn't anymore. Still pinching myself to make sure I'm awake.  What's incredible to me is that I always thought if I ever unintentionally became with child that I would be deeply depressed and quite literally go insane, but after the initial shock wore off, I felt the total opposite. It's like the Universe spoke directly to me. I could hear my spirit loudly, "This is divinely ordained, not a mistake. This baby has a big purpose here. You will be divinely guided and protected." I changed immediately. My body is now your temporary Temple and I promise to treat it as such. I feel motivated to exercise again. I'm already fixing my diet. I'm planning on moving into a bigger place. I'm always trying to be 10 steps ahead, but I'm a Virgo, and so are you :) Your existence makes me feel like I have a big purpose now t...

Allowing people space to be human

Life is currently teaching me a lot about grace.   I never realized how judgmental I've been towards myself, even in the most insignificant situations. Many years ago, when I first started my healing journey, I learned about a concept called "radical self acceptance". I have recently revisited this concept and it's been life changing, yet again. I'm learning that mistakes and imperfection is perfectly ok. These things make me human. They don't take away from my value, my worth, anything. My favorite part of this new journey is that the more self accepting I am, the easier it is to accept and give grace to others.  I love operating from my feminine energy, and giving grace heightens my femininity. It makes me softer and it opens my heart to let love flow through. I will update this post soon! Love and light

For the Single Girlies

I'm reading a book titled "The Single Christian Woman's Guide" by Russelyn Williams. I am not a Christian, but a goof book is a good book. I believe in taking what I need and leaving what I don't. I'm not finished the book yet, but I want to talk about a chapter I recently read. It's called "Just because you are single doesn't mean you should be available". She compared dating to the Olympics. She says that when athletes participate in the Olympics, they compete for the crown and they understand that there are certain rules and ways of preforming that have to be honored in order to win. People have to be professional athletes to enter this competition. They must be qualified . She goes on to say that the same dynamic applies when dating. We cannot just let any man into our lives. We should have standards and requirements that must be met in order for a man to "win" us. You are the Olympics and your future husband is a man who has tr...

Look beyond your Circumstance

In the mist of chaos, you have to be able to take a second to see things from a birds eye view. Look beyond the madness. Whenever I'm experiencing a reality that isn't ideal, I decide to think further than the current situation. I imagine myself already done with the experience, looking back and laughing about it. This is how I remind myself that things always resolve, with time.  How many times have you been in situations where you felt like you couldn't possibly go on? Scared, heartbroken, stuck. But here you are, still living your life. I'm sure that situation is either a crazy memory or doesn't feel as bad as it did initially.  I say all this to say, when things get difficult, look beyond your circumstances. Have faith that things will subside, things will go in your favor and you'll be just fine ❤

Error: Access to me is Denied!

This year I decided to cut ties with a few people. I began to realize how insignificant these relationships were and how they no longer align with who I am, or who I'm becoming. Of course, the human in me loves the human in others, and I do appreciate the experiences I've shared with people that I have connected with.. but when it's time to leave, it's time to leave.   Some of the reasons why I stopped giving people access to me Being taken for granted People getting comfortable coming in and out of my life as they choose Connections that feel meaningless Connections built on weak or superficial foundations Boundaries not being respected or taken seriously Un-equal exchange of energy (Pouring into people, but not being poured back into) Feeling drained after interactions I think I've always noticed these things, but as of lately, it's been more prominent to me. When you're always available to people who don't appreciate you, you are doing a huge disservi...

What my abstinence/celibacy journey has taught me so far.

I started my celibacy journey because the idea of casual sex suddenly felt disgusting (to ME, I obviously have no room to judge).  I've been single for over 5 years, but once in a while I wouldn't mind having "a night of passion" with an old fling or two. Out of the blue, I developed a sever case of the ick. The thought of meaningless sex made me cringe. I don't regret any phases of my life, but I'm more than thrilled to be done with that particular phase and I'm excited to be in this new chapter! What I've learned so far With sex off the table, other things are highlighted and magnified. Red flags are more visible. I've started to get clear about what I really want out of a relationship and how I want to be (and deserve to be) treated.  My discernment is enhanced. I peep the nonsense immediately. I can easily separate who loves me from who lusts me. People who genuinely care about getting to know me and being apart of my world will stay around whe...

The Truth About Unconditional Love

Unconditional love is the concept of giving love freely without restrictions. Some people like to debate about if love can ever truly be "unconditional". Can we honestly give ourselves to another, without conditions?  First, we need to understand what "love" actually is. In my opinion, love is an emotion, it's energy, it's the only thing in this existence that is perfect. Many people use the words "love" and "relationship" interchangeably, but they are very much different. There can be love present in a relationship, a relationship can be built on love, but love is not a relationship and vice versa.  When we find ourselves in a relationship with another, sometimes it's as if they can do no wrong in our eyes, even when they do in fact, do wrong. This is where boundaries come into play. Boundaries  are  conditions. Giving our love to another is a beautiful thing, but many of us forget to honor our needs. Before entering a relationship, ...

A Big Mistake We Make When "Looking For Love"

I've noticed a common pattern among us who are in search of a relationship. We desire to share our worlds with another, so much so, that the moment we meet someone with a good quality or two, we go all in. Often times we're left disappointed. The disappointment comes from imagining the possibility of this person being "the one", without ever giving things a chance to bloom. We immediately make expectations and we fantasize about this person fitting into a specific role, instead of seeing the situation at face value. The worst part is we get angry at the person for not being who we assumed they would be.  When it comes to finding "the one", we cannot assume.  When in search of love, indeed you should set personal expectations for what you want out of a relationship. The problem is assuming that everyone you encounter  must meet those expectations. Nobody is obligated to meet your requirements.  Dating is mandatory. This is the stage where you allow people to...

How I manifest whatever I want by being PATIENT!

I posted this on Reddit today in the Neville Goddard sub. Enjoy! 5m              How I manifest whatever I want by being patient!! Many people are impatient when manifesting. When you want something NOW the last thing you want to hear is "just be patient". So when I become a little impatient I will put myself in a state where I feel like I have everything I want and need. I will literally become the woman who has everything she desires. For example, instead of waiting on that check, I'll spend my time being calm, and saying things to myself like "Look at how easily things come to me! I never have to worry because whatever I want always comes to me quickly." Imagine how you would feel if the bills and the mortgage or whatever you need the money for is already paid. That's exactly what's going to happen anyway so why be stressed in the meantime? Completely ignore the thoughts that don't align with those things being paid. Just stay in the state of ...

Replace "Fear" with "Love" ❤

"Control freaks" don't mean any harm, they're just operating from a place of fear. If you are in charge of all the details, how could anything possibly go wrong, right?  Well, I have an even better idea. Learn to operate from a place of LOVE instead. I used to try and control my relationships and friendships and I always failed because we cannot control people. Attempting to control others makes everything unnecessarily chaotic. I wanted control because I thought it would prevent me from heartbreak and disappointment.   One day I sat with myself and realized that I don't need to be terrified of hurt or pain. I've been through enough to know that yes, pain is uncomfortable, but I've gotten through it before. Now, when I connect with people I don't obsess about how I can try to prevent someone from possibly hurting me. Instead, I love with all my heart. I'm confident knowing that I am secure in MYSELF and that my emotional well being is not dependent...

Make your own rules!

Nothing has meaning until you give it meaning. That's right, you are in charge of how you interpret things. Nothing is bad or good until you choose the label and assign it. It doesn't matter what you've been told your whole life.   I've always thought that if someone disrespected me, I had to demand that respect back by fighting. This is because I grew up in a rough environment where this was an unspoken rule. As I got older, more self aware and less ego driven, I realized that I don't care too much about insults or verbal confrontation. I don't have to demand respect from anyone, especially by putting my hands on them. I don't have to take words so personally. The respect I care the most about is self respect. I learned to walk away from people who use words to try and hurt others. I don't have to try and change their mind or prove my worth by hitting them. It's not required of me to respond to others with anger and violence. This is an example of c...
